The “on-premise” tracking of stock and assets from manufacturing, through the warehouse and onto the delivery vehicles does not have to end there. With Agility’s mobile solutions the boundaries of data collection extend beyond the premises to the vehicles and onto the customers site. For example, vehicle drivers can take mobile terminals loaded with the delivery information direct to the customer’s goods in bay.
With this solution POD information from an electronic signature can be sent either in real time or batch back to the central ERP system to close the delivery loop.
