The first phase of an advanced data capture solution created by Agility Systems, has gone live at high-street retailer, BrightHouse.
 BrightHouse invested in Agility’s Movex-based system to help with warehouse management, process integration and accurate identification and location of stock.
The solution, which uses an open Systems Microsoft .NET application suite to add functionality to Brighthouse’s Movex ERP system, successfully went live at key sites in Heywood, Bothwell, Birmingham and Cardiff, in January, following a six month implementation process.
Employing more than 1,400 staff, BrightHouse has more than 150 outlets in the UK and sells a range of home electronic and domestic appliances, household furniture and other related products, mostly on credit.
Agility Systems, a Chelford Group PLC company, specialises in warehouse efficiency, logistics and information management improvements for established ERP systems. Established in 1995, the firm implements these solutions to a wide range of clients all over the world. It also supplies warehouse optimisation solutions, efficiency monitoring and full transaction controls. Agility specialises in supply chain execution for other ERP systems including INFOR 21, JD Edwards and BPCS.

The second phase of an advanced data capture solution created by Darlington-based firm Agility Systems, has gone live at corporate clothing specialists, Simon Jersey. 
Agility Systems has won a major contract to supply specialist software solutions to the UK distribution centre of global motor corporation, Suzuki.
