FROM THE SOUTH (A1(M))

The route begins at the ending of the junction of the A1(M) with the A66(M).  At this stage follow the A66(M) to a roundabout where it becomes the A66.  Proceed straight over this roundabout (heading for Teesside) for about ¾ mile to another roundabout.  Take the third exit, remaining on the A66 ring road heading towards Teesside (other designated exits are for Barnard Castle, Darlington Town Centre and Northallerton).

After two miles there is another roundabout:  proceed straight over this roundabout, remaining on the A66, and still heading for Teesside (other exits are marked for Darlington Town Centre and Hurworth).

After approximately two miles there is a further roundabout.  Take the first exit onto the B6280, leaving the A66 (other exits are designated for Teesside and Yarm).  Morrisons, McDonalds and Travel Inn are now on the right hand side.

After ¼ mile there is a roundabout for traffic heading into the Retail Park.  Proceed straight over this roundabout.  At this point there are industrial sites on each side of the road, including Cummins on the left.

At the final roundabout.  Take the third exit, sign posted Goods Vehicle Testing Station (other exits are marked for Darlington Town Centre).  The Lingfield Point is the second road on your right and is clearly marked.  On entry into the Estate, you will pass an orange coloured security gatehouse and on the left, just after the gatehouse there is a large glass building.  Follow the sign for the green car park and the reception personnel will admit and announce you.

FROM THE NORTH A1(M)

Take the A1(M) heading south.  At Junction 59 turn left at the roundabout onto the A167.  Continue to the mini roundabout and take a left turn towards Teesside.  Follow this road (passing Asda on the left hand side).  At the next roundabout turn right and follow the road round – over a pelican crossing and at the next set of traffic lights turn left onto McMullen Road.  Continue along this road and after passing Several Garage (Petch, PMB, Car Shock) the turning is 100 yards on the left into the Lingfield Point, you will pass an orange coloured security gatehouse and on the left, just after the gatehouse there is a large glass building.  Follow the sign for the green car park and the reception personnel will admit and announce you.
